For a girl whose education was interrupted by forced marriage, rebuilding her future can feel like an enormous challenge. F SSIBU Mission Foundation is seeking to make that journey more achievable by providing practical skills and tools for economic empowerment.
We are working toward equipping 20 girls with sewing machines and supporting them with tailoring training. These machines can give girls an opportunity to practice their skills, produce useful products, serve customers, and potentially establish small income-generating activities.
The impact goes beyond tailoring. Learning a practical skill can strengthen confidence, encourage independence, and give girls a constructive way to use their talents. With mentorship and entrepreneurship guidance, skills can become the foundation for sustainable livelihoods.
We are also creating opportunities for other vulnerable girls to learn different practical skills, including meal fabrication, hairdressing, craft weaving, poultry keeping, modern farming, and entrepreneurship.
This approach recognizes that every girl has different strengths. Some may excel in tailoring, while others may discover their potential in beauty services, agriculture, crafts, or small enterprise.
Donor support can help us provide the equipment, training, materials, and mentorship required to expand these opportunities.
