In communities across Eastern Uganda, girls can face social and economic pressures that place their education and future at risk. F SSIBU Mission Foundation is expanding mobile outreach approaches that bring information, dialogue, and protective support closer to girls and families in underserved communities.
Our mobile outreach venues provide opportunities to engage girls, parents, community leaders, and other stakeholders around issues affecting girls’ education, safety, and development. Through these engagements, communities can discuss the risks associated with child marriage, the importance of keeping girls in school, and the responsibilities of adults and community structures in protecting children.
Bringing these activities closer to communities helps reduce barriers that can prevent families and girls from accessing information and support. It also allows our teams to identify concerns that may require further follow-up or referral.
Donor funding is helping fuel this work by supporting community mobilization, educational materials, outreach logistics, and engagement with local stakeholders. Each contribution helps extend the reach of child-protection programming beyond established service points.
As F SSIBU Mission Foundation expands its mobile outreach venues, continued donor support can help us reach more girls and communities, strengthen prevention efforts, and create more opportunities for girls to remain connected to education and protective networks.
