A child facing abuse may struggle to concentrate on education, attend school consistently, or feel safe within their own community. F SSIBU Mission Foundation works to provide assistance and protection for children experiencing abuse and other vulnerabilities, helping them remain connected to the schools and educational opportunities they have been supported to access.
Our approach combines identification, follow-up, family engagement, psychosocial support, referrals, and practical assistance according to the needs of each child. By responding to protection concerns, we seek to reduce barriers that could force vulnerable children away from school.
The connection between child protection and education is central to our work. Providing school necessities is important, but children also need safe environments, supportive adults, and appropriate responses when they experience abuse or other serious challenges.
Donor funding has enabled F SSIBU Mission Foundation to strengthen these interventions by supporting beneficiary follow-ups, community outreach, child-support activities, and responses to emerging needs. This support helps us remain engaged with children beyond the initial point of assistance.
With continued donor partnership, we can respond to more protection concerns, strengthen follow-up systems, engage more families, and help more vulnerable children remain safely in school rather than losing their education because of circumstances beyond their control.
