Getting a vulnerable child into school is an important step; helping that child remain there requires continued support. F SSIBU Mission Foundation works with children, parents, guardians, and communities to address challenges that may threaten school attendance and educational continuity.
Through beneficiary monitoring, household visits, family engagement, child-protection interventions, and practical assistance, our programs seek to understand the circumstances affecting individual children. Where abuse, neglect, poverty, child labour, or other vulnerabilities create barriers, we work to connect children and families with appropriate support.
This approach complements our education initiatives by recognizing that school retention depends on more than classroom access. Children need protection, supportive families, basic necessities, and adults who are willing to intervene when difficulties arise.
Donor funding has played a significant role in making this continued support possible. Contributions help sustain outreach activities, beneficiary follow-ups, child-protection responses, educational support, and community engagement. These resources allow our teams to remain connected with children after they enter our programs.
For donors, this means their support contributes not only to helping a child reach school, but also to strengthening the conditions that can help that child continue learning. With additional resources, we can follow more children, assist more vulnerable families, and extend protection and education support to communities where children remain at risk of dropping out.
