A child needs more than a place in a classroom. Children need encouragement, guidance, opportunities to develop their abilities, and the practical skills that can help them navigate life beyond school.
F SSIBU Mission Foundation is taking a holistic approach to supporting vulnerable children by combining education assistance, examination preparation, mentorship, and practical skills development.
For children preparing for Primary Leaving Examinations, our final mentoring focuses on helping them remain motivated, strengthen their preparation, manage pressure, and complete primary education with greater confidence. For girls, targeted mentorship provides additional support around education, personal development, decision-making, and their transition into the next stage of life.
At the same time, we are equipping boys and girls with opportunities to learn practical skills such as handbag making, creative crafts, digital literacy, teamwork, and entrepreneurship. These activities allow children to learn through experience and begin discovering their interests and capabilities.
This combination matters because vulnerable children often face multiple barriers at once. Supporting only one area may leave other challenges unresolved. By investing in education, mentorship, wellbeing, and skills, we seek to support children more comprehensively.
Donor contributions help make this possible. Funding can provide learning materials, mentorship sessions, practical training tools, equipment, trainers, and opportunities for children to participate in meaningful learning experiences.
The impact we seek is long-term: children who are better prepared academically, more confident personally, more aware of their possibilities, and increasingly equipped with practical skills.
