The children we serve are growing toward a future that will require knowledge, confidence, practical abilities, and the capacity to make informed choices.
F SSIBU Mission Foundation is therefore combining educational support with mentorship and practical skills development to help children prepare for life beyond primary school.
As children approach their Primary Leaving Examinations, we support them with final mentoring that encourages preparation, perseverance, goal-setting, and confidence. At the same time, we are creating opportunities for children to gain exposure to practical skills that can complement their formal education.
Activities such as handbag making, creative crafts, digital learning, entrepreneurship awareness, communication, and teamwork allow children to develop abilities through experience. These activities can help children understand that their future can involve multiple pathways—including continued academic education, vocational training, entrepreneurship, and skills-based opportunities.
This approach is particularly important for children from vulnerable households, where financial limitations may restrict exposure to different possibilities.
We want to help children see a future beyond the challenges they experience today.
Donor support allows us to provide learning materials, practical training resources, tools, mentorship, trainers, and opportunities for children to practice newly acquired skills. It also helps us reach children who may otherwise have little access to these experiences.
Our work is about preparing children to move forward—not simply helping them through one school term or one examination.
Every skill learned, every mentoring conversation, and every educational opportunity can contribute to a child’s confidence and readiness for the next stage.
