Yesterday, schools across Uganda reopened for the third term, and for the children under our care, the reopening represents much more than the beginning of another school period. It is a renewed opportunity to learn, grow, regain confidence, and move closer to the future they deserve.
Since yesterday, F SSIBU Mission Foundation has been supporting children under our care to return to their respective schools and resume their studies. We are determined to ensure that vulnerable children do not miss the opportunity to continue learning simply because their families are unable to meet essential educational needs.
For many of the children we serve, the journey back to school can be challenging. School fees, uniforms, shoes, books, meals, learning materials, and emotional wellbeing all influence whether a child can remain in education. When even one of these needs becomes an obstacle, a child can be forced to stay home.
This is where donor support creates meaningful change.
Through your generosity, we are helping remove barriers that stand between vulnerable children and their classrooms. Your contribution helps create an environment where children can focus on their lessons, participate confidently, and continue developing the knowledge and skills that can shape their lives.
Third term is also an important stage of the academic year. Children are preparing to complete their current class and progress toward the next level of education.
We are grateful to every donor who continues to believe in these children.
As we celebrate their return to school, we invite you to continue standing with us. Together, we can ensure that more children are not defined by poverty, but empowered by education, opportunity, and hope.
