For a vulnerable girl, the difference between remaining in school and dropping out can be as simple as an unpaid school balance, a lack of meals, missing scholastic materials, or the inability to manage her menstrual health with dignity.
Our Keep Her in School initiative addresses these barriers through practical, targeted support that enables girls to remain engaged in education.
Donor contributions help us meet critical needs including school fees, meals, scholastic materials, menstrual hygiene supplies, counselling, and school-readiness support. This allows girls to return to the classroom prepared to learn rather than returning home because their families cannot afford the costs associated with education.
The impact is visible in every girl who remains at her desk, completes another term, progresses to the next class, and begins to see education as a realistic pathway to independence.
But the investment reaches further than one school term. Keeping a girl in school reduces her exposure to early marriage, teenage pregnancy, exploitation, and long-term economic vulnerability while strengthening her confidence and future choices.
When donors keep a girl in school today, they are helping protect the woman she can become tomorrow.
