Returning to school is an important moment for every child, but for children living in vulnerable circumstances, the journey back to the classroom can be filled with uncertainty. School fees, meals, books, shoes, uniforms, writing materials and emotional support can all determine whether a child returns prepared or remains at home.
Our commitment to supporting vulnerable children is built around addressing these barriers as much as resources allow. Through our programs, children are supported with educational necessities and welfare assistance designed to help them remain connected to school.
The children we support are not simply numbers. Each child has a name, a personality, a dream and a future. Some dream of becoming teachers. Others imagine themselves as doctors, business owners, engineers, nurses, farmers, computer specialists or community leaders. Their circumstances today should not prevent them from pursuing those dreams.
Donor funding plays a critical role in making their return to school possible. Contributions can help provide school fees, school meals, scholastic materials, shoes, clothing, counselling and other essential support.
A child who once worried about whether they would return to class can instead walk through the school gate knowing that someone believes in their potential.
Our work also seeks to encourage children emotionally. Through counselling, mentorship and psychosocial support, we help children develop confidence and resilience as they navigate challenges at home and in their communities.
As children return for another school term, we invite partners and donors to stand with them. Their journey will not end when they enter the classroom. They will need continued support throughout the school year.
Your contribution can help turn a difficult school return into a hopeful new beginning.
Together, we can help vulnerable children stay in school and move closer to their dreams.
