Supporting 120 Children to Return to School on 14 September 2026

By Seguya Ivan | Project leader

On 14 September 2026, 120 vulnerable children under the care and support of F SSIBU Mission Foundation – Uganda in Eastern Uganda are expected to return to school. For these children, going back to school is more than the beginning of another academic term—it is another opportunity to rebuild their lives, discover their abilities and move closer to the dreams they hold for their future.

Many of the children we support have experienced difficult circumstances, including poverty, neglect and limited access to basic necessities. Through the support of compassionate partners and donors, they have received opportunities that many once thought were beyond their reach. They have been supported to access education, essential care, meals and a safer environment where they can learn, grow and regain hope.

Education is already changing their lives. It is helping them develop confidence, knowledge and skills while giving them the foundation to become responsible and productive members of their communities. Every school day represents progress—a chance for a child to learn something new, build friendships, develop talents and take another step toward achieving their ambitions.

However, keeping 120 children in school requires continued support. School fees, uniforms, shoes, scholastic materials, meals, transportation and other essential needs remain significant challenges for vulnerable families and the children under our care.

As 14 September approaches, we are calling upon donors, partners, organizations and well-wishers to stand with these 120 children. Your support can help ensure that poverty does not interrupt their education or force them to abandon their dreams.

A contribution toward one child's education can help provide the essentials needed for a successful return to school. Collective support can help us reach all 120 children and give them the stability they need to remain in school throughout the term.

These children have already shown resilience. They have benefited from the opportunities provided to them, and with continued support, they can go even further. A child who receives an education today can become tomorrow's teacher, nurse, engineer, entrepreneur, leader or community changemaker.

Let us make 14 September 2026 a day of hope and renewed opportunity for 120 children in Eastern Uganda.

Together, we can keep them in school, nurture their potential and help them turn their dreams into reality
