The Keep Her in School Program is built on a powerful belief: every girl deserves the opportunity to learn, dream, and determine her own future. In communities affected by poverty and social vulnerability, keeping girls in school can be one of the most effective ways to reduce cycles of disadvantage and create lasting opportunities for families.
With support from donors, F SSIBU Mission Foundation works with girls, young mothers, parents, caregivers, schools, and community stakeholders to address the barriers that prevent girls from completing their education. Support may include scholastic assistance, mentorship, life-skills training, menstrual hygiene support, sexual and reproductive health education, and community awareness activities.
The program gives girls more than access to education—it helps them develop confidence, leadership, resilience, and the ability to make informed decisions. Girls are encouraged to understand their rights, protect their wellbeing, set personal goals, and envision careers and productive futures.
Parents and caregivers are equally important to this approach. Through community engagement, families are encouraged to prioritize girls' education and provide emotional and practical support. Mothers and young mothers are also encouraged to serve as positive examples, demonstrating to their children that challenges do not have to determine the direction of their lives.
Donor contributions therefore create impact at multiple levels. They help a girl stay in school, support a mother to rebuild her future, strengthen families, and contribute to a community where girls are valued and protected.
Your support can help a girl remain in school today so that she can become an empowered woman tomorrow. By investing in the Keep Her in School Program, donors are investing in education, dignity, opportunity, and sustainable community transformation.
