The Keep Her in School Program is creating pathways for vulnerable girls to remain in education, develop confidence, and build a foundation for a more secure future. In the communities we serve, poverty, teenage pregnancy, early marriage, lack of menstrual hygiene supplies, and limited family resources can force girls out of school and expose them to long-term vulnerability. Through donor support, the program is addressing these barriers while strengthening the families and communities surrounding these girls.
The program provides targeted education support, including scholastic materials, school-related assistance, mentorship, life-skills education, and guidance that encourages girls to remain focused on their education. Particular attention is given to girls from disadvantaged households and young mothers who face significant challenges returning to school after pregnancy or childbirth.
By supporting girls to continue their education, donors are helping them acquire knowledge, confidence, and practical skills that can transform their lives. Education also gives girls greater opportunities to make informed decisions about their health, relationships, careers, and future families.
The program also engages mothers and caregivers because sustainable change begins at home. Parents receive guidance on the importance of girls' education, positive parenting, child protection, and supporting young mothers to rebuild their lives. This creates a supportive environment where girls are encouraged rather than pushed out of school.
Every contribution to Keep Her in School is an investment in a girl's potential and a family's future. Donor support helps turn vulnerability into opportunity and enables girls and young mothers to become educated, confident, economically productive members of their communities.
