Dear supporter,
Leaving school early should never mean leaving behind the opportunity to build a dignified and productive future. In the communities we serve, many young people who discontinue their education face limited employment prospects, poverty, social exclusion, and increased vulnerability to exploitation and other harmful pressures.
Our program responds by creating a second pathway to opportunity for school dropouts through practical skills development, mentorship, and livelihood support. We equip young people with hands-on vocational skills, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, digital skills, and life skills that are relevant to opportunities within their communities. Rather than focusing only on training, we help participants understand how to turn their skills into income-generating activities, manage finances responsibly, identify opportunities, and build confidence to pursue sustainable livelihoods. The impact extends beyond individual participants. When a young person gains a marketable skill and the ability to earn an income, they move from dependency toward self-reliance.
They are better positioned to support themselves, contribute to their families, and become productive members of their communities. This can also reduce the economic pressures that often push vulnerable youth toward unsafe choices. For us, this program is about more than teaching skills—it is about restoring hope, rebuilding confidence, and opening doors that poverty and school dropout may have closed. With the support of donors and partners, we can reach more vulnerable young people, provide quality skills training and mentorship, and connect them to opportunities that enable them to learn, earn, and build sustainable futures.
Your support can help transform a school dropout from a young person facing limited choices into a skilled, confident, and economically empowered member of the community.
