Building Confident and Empowered Girls

Through our Keep Her in School Initiative, F SSIBU Mission Foundation aims to establish Girls’ Leadership Clubs within schools and communities to help girls develop the confidence, skills, and support systems they need to remain in school and build a brighter future.

Many girls in underserved communities have limited opportunities to express themselves, take leadership roles, or participate in decisions that affect their education and future. Our leadership clubs will create safe and supportive spaces where girls can learn, share their experiences, and encourage one another to stay focused on their education.

The clubs will provide practical sessions in leadership, teamwork, communication, public speaking, decision-making, self-confidence, goal setting, and problem-solving. Girls will also be encouraged to discuss challenges that can interfere with their education, including poverty, peer pressure, early pregnancy, child marriage, and lack of family support.

With the support of GlobalGiving donors, we can provide mentorship materials, educational resources, leadership activities, and community-based sessions that make these clubs sustainable and accessible to vulnerable girls.

We believe that when a girl is given the opportunity to lead, she gains confidence not only to remain in school, but also to become a positive influence within her family and community.
