With many children under our programs, we carry a truth that never gets easier: they were abandoned and rejected by their own families. Some were left at doorsteps. Others wandered alone, confused, wondering why love had a limit. But here, they found a second chance.
Right now, we have placed these children in different homes we trust—families who open their arms and hearts. And we are deeply grateful for every caregiver who has stepped in. But the reality is, what we have is still too small to hold the growing number of little ones who have nowhere else to go. Every day, we turn away faces we wish we could embrace, because we simply don’t have the space.
Our dream—our desperate, hopeful dream—is to build a Centered Home. A place where 50 children can sleep without fear, eat without shame, and wake up knowing they belong. A home with walls that don’t close them out, but wrap around them with safety, consistency, and unconditional love. No more moving from house to house. No more feeling like a burden. Just one place, under one roof, where they can finally exhale.
But that plan remains hanging in balance. We believe that if we construct our own home, the expense will be offset by how much we’ll save—and more importantly, how much we’ll heal. Caring for them in one place means fewer resources stretched thin, and more energy poured into what matters: their laughter, their education, their future.
With continued funding—with your generosity—we are committed to building that home. Not just a building, but a promise. To every child who was told they weren’t enough: you are. And we will not stop until you have a place to call your own.
Thank you for not walking away. Thank you for helping us save them from the harsh conditions outside. Together, we can turn a hanging balance into a foundation.
