The first term has ended, but for 80 children, the struggle hasn’t. As you read this, imagine small feet—cracked, blistered, and infected—tracing dusty paths for 5 to 6 miles every single day. From home to school and back again, barefoot. No shoes to shield them from sharp stones, scorching heat, or parasites that burrow into tender soles.
These children don’t complain. They walk because they must. They dream of learning, not of the pain that shoots through their feet with every step. Some already have open wounds. Others limp silently, hiding tears so their parents won’t worry.
But next term, you can change that story. With your support today, we will prepare to equip all 80 children with new shoes—right in their own communities. Not just shoes, but dignity. Health. The simple joy of running without wincing. The freedom to focus on lessons, not on bleeding feet.
Please don’t let another child walk that lonely, painful road barefoot. Your gift today isn’t just shoes. It’s healing. It’s hope. It’s telling a child, “You matter. Your pain is seen. And we will walk with you.”
Will you help us prepare for next term? One pair at a time, we can cover those precious feet with love.
