Today, as our girls sit for their second examination paper, my heart swells with pride—and breaks a little, too. They’ve poured over books, conquered sleepless nights, and now face these tests with quiet courage. But soon, the holidays will come, and for many, that means returning to homes where a simple monthly cycle can become a threat to their dignity.
Imagine being a young girl, terrified that your own body will betray you because you have nothing safe to manage your period. Some miss school. Others use rags, leaves, or ash. Their confidence shatters. Their future shrinks.
But we can change that. Today, we want to send each girl home not just with exam results, but with a bundle of sanitary pads—a small gift that carries a mighty message: You matter. Your body is not a source of shame. You deserve to feel clean, safe, and strong.
These pads are more than cotton and plastic. They are wings of protection. They say, “We see you. We believe in your dreams.” Let’s equip every girl before the holiday. Let her walk home with her head high, knowing she is empowered to protect her dignity—not just for one month, but forever. Please, help us make this happen.
