Greetings from Berlin! We are excited to share some meaningful updates as our work continues to evolve across India, Germany, and Kenya.
India: Growth and Local LeadershipOur community center continues to thrive as a hub for growth, connection, and learning:
Expanding Programs: Our cooking classes are growing in frequency and participation, bringing more women together in our kitchen to learn, cook, and connect.
New Leadership: We are thrilled to welcome Marishia Rodrigues to the team as our new Program Manager in India! Marishia will serve as a crucial bridge between our on-the-ground work in India and our team in Germany, helping us deepen our impact and streamline our operations.
As we complete our planned transition out of Kenya, our commitment to the safety and well-being of the women remains a top priority:
Ongoing Care: To ensure a soft and responsible transition, we are continuing to provide monthly emergency healthcare support for the women through the end of this year. We want to ensure they remain supported as they transition into their independent futures and business ventures.
Migrant Women’s Program: We are now halfway through our workshop series for migrant women in Berlin (launched in collaboration with Tomorrow Bank)! The transformation has been beautiful to witness—after just two sessions, participants have expressed a deeply renewed sense of belonging, feeling safe, touched, and supported as they navigate their new lives in Germany.
Impact Report: We are putting the finishing touches on our 2025 Impact Report. We are finalizing the numbers and look forward to sharing the full report with you very soon!
