Project Report | May 5, 2026
First report

By Laura Rodriguez | Fundraising

During this reporting period, the team representing Mexico has been preparing to participate in the Street Child World Cup, an international event that brings together more than 30 teams from around the world and aims to raise awareness about the rights of children in vulnerable situations. For the participants, this experience represents a unique opportunity to share their stories, build confidence, and be part of a global platform that promotes inclusion and social justice.

Thanks to the support received through this campaign, we were able to address a specific need for Team Mexico: providing a one-day snack for the participating children and the volunteers supporting them. While this is a targeted contribution, this type of support plays an important role in ensuring the wellbeing of participants during key moments of the experience.

With the event now beginning, Team Mexico is stepping onto this international stage carrying not only their athletic talent, but also their stories and aspirations. Experiences like this highlight the importance of continuing to create opportunities that allow children to grow in safe, dignified, and empowering environments.
