Narun (Name Changed), 1 Year 3 Months old, was born with cleft lip and Cleft palate deformity in Dotama, a village in Kokrajhar district of Assam. Due to his cleft lip and palate deformity, he faced difficulties in eating, feeding and also in breathing.
His parents were very worried about the condition of Narun.
It was by fortune that they came to know about Mission Smile and also about the free surgery from a screening camp organized by us nearby to their village.
Narun’s parents brought him to our Guwahati Comprehensive Cleft Care Centre for surgery on 06th May, 2018. He underwent all necessary medical evaluation and was found fit for surgery.
His surgery was scheduled the next day. It was successful and his Cleft lip is now repaired.
He will get his palate repaired after a span of 4 to 6 months. He will be waiting for donors like you to support him to get his palate repaired and live a life Cleft free.
His parents are very happy with the results of the surgery and thanked you for helping them to avail the free treatment.
