Christmas at AMANC is experienced in a unique way, filled with illusion, generosity, and good wishes, in addition to an abundance of gifts that overflow the holiday spirit. It all began in early December, when every corner of the AMANC center was carefully decorated, setting the stage for the traditional Christmas posada.
On December 4th, the much-awaited posada took place, bringing together volunteers, donors, and supportive institutions who enthusiastically responded to our invitation. The event featured a bird exhibition, organized to raise awareness about their situation and promote the care of these majestic animals. Following that, attendees enjoyed Christmas stories, and the celebration became even warmer when tamales, buñuelos, ponche, and a variety of delicious dishes delighted everyone present.
The fun continued with a group of volunteer therapists who organized games for children and adults, achieving resounding success. The children didn't stop jumping and dancing, while applause resonated in the festive atmosphere. The joy reached its peak with the arrival of the much-anticipated gifts. Hundreds of presents, accompanied by sweets and special treats, were distributed among our patients, ensuring that no one was left without a gift. This generous gesture was made possible by a committed group of friends who came together to make this magical afternoon a reality.
The posada concluded with an unparalleled taste, leaving everyone eagerly awaiting the next edition. Now, with the end of the year and the anticipated visit of the Three Kings in sight, we can only express our gratitude to all the people who made this event possible, giving an unforgettable experience to all our little ones.
