The Ready Aiders ICT Center for Youths in Igembe North, Meru County, is a collaborative initiative aimed at transforming the lives of local youth through digital literacy. This center will provide vital ICT skills, including basic computer packages, graphic design, coding, and data annotation, fostering employability, entrepreneurship, and academic performance. The project will directly impact over 500 young people, preparing them for modern workforce opportunities and driving sustainability.
The youth in Igembe North, Meru, lack access to digital education and resources, limiting their opportunities for employment and personal development. Without access to ICT tools, they risk falling behind in an increasingly digital world, contributing to ongoing cycles of poverty.
This project will set up an ICT center to provide computer training and internet access to 500 youths, equipping them with essential digital skills to increase job opportunities and improve their quality of life.
The ICT Center will empower 500 youths annually with digital literacy, enabling them to secure better-paying jobs or start their own businesses. Over time, this will contribute to breaking the cycle of poverty, improving economic conditions in the community, and fostering growth and innovation for future generations.
