Hundreds of families in Huntington Beach are low income households with a single parent who works or a two parent home with both parents working. For these families, the expanded site on Golden West College's campus will give them the peace of mind they need and the quality care their children deserve.
A parent at the current preschool site writes, “I am grateful to the Boys and Girls Club of Huntington Valley for all the help they have given along the way. By opening their doors to us, they gave me and my daughter the opportunity to expand our minds and the ability to provide a roof over our heads and put food on the table.”
With the history-making site on Golden West College, we will be able to serve thousands of in-need families and give children a place to grow and learn. While parents have the confidence that their children are safe and well-taken care of, they can pursue their educational and career goals to give their families a new hope for their futures.
As the first phase of the project is dedicated to building the new preschool site, help from donors like you can directly affect what we can provide these little tykes as they grow and learn within the Club's safe and caring walls.
Check out the newly updated photos in the photo gallery and see how children at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley are enjoying their experiences at our preschools right now.
