In March 2025, United Way Perú and our corporate partners launched the Back to School Campaign: De Vuelta al Cole 2025. As in previous years, our goal was to ensure a better start to the school year for children in vulnerable communities by providing school and hygiene kits to preschoolers in Southern Lima.
Thanks to the generosity of employees and individual donors — including supporters like you through GlobalGiving — we were able to raise and distribute 1,004 school and hygiene kits to children in 8 public schools across the districts of San Juan de Miraflores, Villa María del Triunfo, and Villa El Salvador.
This effort was made possible with the support of 9 participating companies, 30 corporate volunteers, and the growing community that believes in creating equal learning opportunities for all children.
Each kit is more than a set of supplies — it represents care, dignity, and the promise of a thriving start. Your donation through GlobalGiving has been essential to reaching this point.
As we continue working toward our 2025 goal of supporting 1,200 children, we hope to raise the remaining funds needed in the coming months. With your help, we can reach even more students and ensure no child is left behind.
Thank you for being part of this mission. Together, we are building brighter futures — one child at a time.
With gratitude,
United Way Perú
