Dear Friend,
Your generosity has helped provide $13,050 in scholarships this Fall for 31 children and adults with special needs. Thanks to you, they were each able to receive 10 weeks of therapeutic horseback riding and other equine assisted services.
For 40 years, Equine-Assisted Therapies of South Florida has helped thousands of children and adults through the healing benefits of working with horses. Equine assisted services can make a huge difference in the life of someone with special needs. Whether their disability is physical, emotional, or mental, horses can provide a connection that transcends conventional therapies in a clinical setting and offers a chance for them to experience life without limits.
Next week, we welcome back our participants for the Winter session. Of the 53 individuals registered, 58% qualify for a financial hardship scholarship. Your gifts go toward the care and feeding of our 12 horses; help offset the cost of Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructors and Equine Specialists that teach lessons; and provide our volunteers with valuable training that helps make our programs possible.
We thank you for your support of individuals that need it most. You have helped to pave the Path to Independence for those that come to our barn. We ask humbly you to consider making a year-end gift that will help our participants continue to grow throughout the coming year.
With deep appreciation,
