On July 16, 2020, we will be announcing another round of families who will be receiving all major expense paid trips to participate in the one-of-a-kind Epilepsy Awareness Educational Expo and Day at Disneyland. These families can connect face to face with over 100 vendors geared toward families living with the stresses and frustrations of epilepsy and seizure-related conditions. Some of the top epileptologists and epilepsy centers in the United States will be on hand to talk with families. We expect over 3,000 will gather for this event.
Through our Chelsea's Wish Project, we are currently accepting nominations. In 2019, we were able to send 20 families, but due to COVID-19, we expect we will not be able to send as many in 2020 as our fundraising efforts have been dramatically affected. Regardless, we will send as many as we possibly can.
In our next update, we will be able to show you photos of those families so stay tuned. For more information the event itself, you can click on http://www.epilepsyawarenessday.org. For more information on how to nominate your loved one for this amazing opportunity, please join our Chelsea's Wish Facebook Page.
