Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank you for your interest in the Epidemic Relief Fund for African Health Crises project. At this time, no donations have been received, so the emergency response fund has not yet been established.
Across many African communities, outbreaks such as cholera, Ebola, Lassa fever, and other infectious diseases continue to spread quickly due to delayed response. Local health workers and organizations often lack immediate funds for transport, protective gear, and basic supplies.
Without early action, infections spread rapidly, increasing illness and loss of life while placing heavy pressure on already limited health services.
This project is designed to create a rapid emergency fund that will support frontline responders with small grants. These funds will be used for urgent needs such as transport, hygiene materials, water kits, and protective equipment to allow quick response during outbreaks.
With the right support, local teams can act faster, reduce the spread of disease, and protect vulnerable communities during health emergencies.
We appreciate your time in learning about this effort and remain hopeful that support will come so this fund can be established and respond when emergencies arise.
Thank you for your kindness and continued support.
Sincerely,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
