Present a smile to this child this season of Giving.

Viswa
Viswa

Viswa, 3 years old (name changed), is born to a drunkard father. His mother left Viswa and her husband for another man. Viswa is being taken care of by his grandmother as his father least cares about him. Viswa's grandmother is working in the nearby household as servant maid and feeding the child.

Taking the small child who was then 1 and 1/2 years old to the houses she worked, affected the grand mother's earning capacity. It was then he was admitted to our early learning centre. The teacher and the caretaker of the centre take good care of Viswa. He gets a nutritious meal daily.

Viswa is a loner due to his early childhood trauma - seeing his father and mother fighting with each other, his father drinking, the mother's selfishness in leaving the child with the father. He never mingles with other children, is silent most of the time, disobeys the teacher,  lies down on the floor and refuses to speak for hours together when scolded for not obeying. He is very adamant and stubborn. It is very rare that he smiles.

The New Life team is taking efforts to change Viswa's behaviour by showing more care and love. It is trying to mellow down the boy. WILL HE CHANGE? is the question of his grandmother who finds it difficult to manage the little boy when he gets angry or upset. We are continuing our efforts with the hope that he will definitely change and he will SMILE often.

Children like Viswa who have a difficult childhood are being cared for, fed and given basic education in the early learning centre of New Life. To help 20 such poor deprived children we need monthly $170. This is possible only with the support of generous donors like you who support our cause. If you can make your donations recurring it will give assurance to us. Kindly keep helping these children and also spread words about our project to your near and dear ones. Your words carry weight and will help us continue supporting children like Viswa.

Today is the Giving Tuesday and we are nearing the year-end. Your donations in this Giving season may have a multiplier effect. So donate and multiply the value of your donation.

Thanking you

With regards
