Daer friends,
we recently supported a low-income family with three children. Their parents had very limited digital skills and often struggled to support their children with schoolwork, online learning and the safe use of digital tools.
Through practical training, the parents learned how to use online services, recognise scams and suspicious messages, protect personal information and better understand the digital tools their children use every day, including AI.
For the children, this means having parents who can now offer support when they need it, recognise potential online risks and help them use technology more safely and responsibly. They can also be more involved in their children's schoolwork and better understand the challenges their children face online, from misleading content to inappropriate communication.
The family is now better equipped to make the most of digital opportunities without being left alone to navigate the risks.
This is what your support makes possible: not simply teaching one family how to use technology, but giving three children better access to learning, greater online safety and adults who can support them in the digital world.
With gratitude,
The Pomoc deci team
