Our facility serves a growing community with high maternal, pediatric, and emergency care needs. Limited patient monitors force staff to rely on manual checks, risking delayed detection of critical deterioration. Acquiring two monitors will enable continuous tracking of vital signs, improve maternal and emergency care, reduce staff workload, and enhance patient outcomes. We seek support to equip our facility with these lifesaving tools.
Our facility serves a growing population often facing emergencies such as trauma, severe infections, and chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension. Yet, we lack patient monitors, forcing staff to rely on manual checks that can delay detection of complications in mothers, children, and critically ill patients. During emergencies and night shifts, staff are stretched thin, putting lives at risk and compromising the quality of care for those needing continuous monitoring.
Acquiring two patient monitors will enable real-time tracking of blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation. Staff can detect early deterioration, respond faster, and monitor multiple high-risk patients simultaneously. This reduces workload, strengthens maternal and emergency care, and ensures timely interventions to save lives.
Continuous monitoring will improve patient outcomes, reduce preventable deaths from conditions such as malaria, pneumonia, and obstetric complications, and strengthen maternal, pediatric, and emergency care. Staff efficiency and confidence will increase, and the community will gain greater trust in the facility. Over time, reliable monitoring will build a resilient, high-quality health system for the growing population we will serve.
