The project will to enroll 100 rural girls into School and Sport for health and wellness. The project seeks to create an opportunity for 100 girls from rural Eastern part of Zambia who have never attended formal school. As sport for social change organization that believes in the power of education and sport for social and economic change. The project will recruit 100 girls into both school and social football as after school activity.
Lack of financial resources and cultural believes has been the biggest obstacle affecting mostly girls rural Zambia. This is even worse that culturally, education and sport is regarded as a thing for a boy child. This has made it very difficult for the girls to be enrolled in school and sport.
The project will provide some financial support to that will help girls acquire the necessary school materials and tuition that will enable them attend formal school and graduate. By enrolling these girls into extra school activities (sport for social change). The project will advocate for equal opportunities between girls and boys in the community.
The community will have literate girls that will be well-formed to make sound decision for themselves, their families and the entire community. The project will bring change the narrative/ norms that advance the gender for only a boy child now and forever.
