Report of the Project Planning meeting
Held at Utthan's Ahmedabad office on the 5th November 2014
Background: The resources from Globalgiving were received by Utthan in the first week of November. Planning had been taken up through email and telecon between team members leading and implementing this Project. However, a detailed brainstorming meeting was taken up on the above date to concretise the activities.
1. Criteria for selection of community ambassadors were finalised
2. Subjects to be covered in the trainings and outcomes were discussed: The trainings will include a historical background of Child Sexual violence, its manifestation, consequences, what the Law provides, possible simple strategies (for multiple stakeholders) for prevention and support for survivors, basic steps to form a gender sensitive healing circle for survivors. The methodology will be participatory and will constantly ask partcipants to share stories and instances from their lives and communities. The resource persons were finalised and contacted.
Time plan:
Training 1: 12-13th Dec 2014 at Ahmedabad
Training 2: end of December/1st week January at Ahmedabad
