SAI Animal Rescue Program: 2025 End of Year Report
Throughout 2025, the SAI Animal Rescue Program remained committed to the care and health of the monkeys at the Sans Souci Sanctuary. Through our regular distribution efforts, we successfully delivered a total of 4,192 lb of specialized food and nutritional resources. This supply included fresh and healthy foods like plantains, bananas, papaya, and eggs, making sure the monkeys had the balanced diet they needed to stay strong and healthy throughout the year.
Our main focus in 2025 was to make sure the sanctuary received the food and support it needed without interruptions. By putting our resources where they were most needed, we kept a high standard of care for the monkeys. This work has been essential for their recovery and well-being, showing that our feeding program is effective in keeping these animals safe and well-fed in their environment.
As we look ahead, the South American Initiative is currently working on updating the goals of this program. We are taking this time to renew our objectives and find better ways to keep our primate rescue work going in the long term. This process is important to make our impact even stronger in the future. We are very grateful for your support, which makes this work possible and helps us protect these monkeys.
