Project Report | Feb 3, 2021
End youth unemployment. Support trade education.

By Adedayo Ademosu | Project Officer

We sincerely apologise for the delay in sending you a report of our activities lately. It has been a tasking making the necessary adjustment as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. We have managed to make significant progress despite the challenges.

Although our schools are closed, our project's implementation continues regardless, though at a slow speed.

We have secured a 6 block classroom from one of the public schools that we will convert into Labs.

We were unable to organise the Parents teachers forum due to the COVID 19 pandemic. We hope to organise a virtual session that everyone will be in attendance.

The state Education District has nominated teachers to attend trade subject refreshers courses in the first quarter of 2021.

While enrolment of students into the trade classes commences in  September of 2021 due to the closure of schools in the larger part of 2020, our fundraising activities are currently ongoing for us to be able to meet our commitment to provide the appropriate learning environment.

We are optimistic that we will make a significant milestone in our project in the coming months despite the pandemic challenges.

Therefore, we employ you to stay safe while you continue to support the ongoing efforts of ensuring access to trade education.

We are working on a Learning platform to support our teachers and to provide students' with remote-learning support during this time to continue to get empowered learning virtually.

We will share updates with you in our next report

We thank you for your support and ask you to help us pursue our mission.

Thank you.
