Millions of people in Pakistan still drink unsafe water from contaminated ponds. Fast Rural Development Program (FRDP Pakistan) builds clean water wells and solar-powered systems to provide safe, life-saving water to families in drought-affected communities.
Pakistan faces one of the world's worst water crises, with millions lacking access to safe drinking water - especially in Sindh Province. Families often rely on contaminated ponds and canals, leading to severe diseases such as cholera and typhoid. Women and children travel long distances daily just to collect unsafe water, affecting their health, education, and quality of life.
FRDP Pakistan will install hand pumps, deep water wells, and solar-powered water systems in the most water-deprived areas. Each system is water-tested, built with durable materials, and managed locally. Donors receive photos, updates, and final reports. These wells provide reliable, clean, and sustainable water access close to homes for families and livestock.
Clean water improves health, education, and livelihoods. Women save hours daily, children attend school, and diseases are reduced. Solar-powered systems ensure sustainability and climate resilience. This project empowers communities to live healthier, more productive lives - breaking the cycle of poverty and water scarcity for generations to come.
