Good morning, we hope you are having a beautiful summer season.
Thank you for your continuous support for our students in our facility, La Cima IAP in Mexico.
We are happy to share that a couple of weeks ago, we had the tremendous honor of attending Ana’s graduation ceremony as she received her degree in Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics from the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro.
Seeing her receive her certificate was truly wonderful. It invited us to look back and reflect on her extraordinary journey: Ana comes from a rural community in Amealco, Querétaro. She arrived at our facility with big dreams; she went through five years of demanding university studies alongside five years of active participation in our human development program at La Cima IAP. Witnessing her remarkable growth, maturity, resilience, and the wonderful professional woman she has become is the most beautiful fruit of our model.
We know very well that Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics is a highly demanding field, requiring great discipline, countless hours of study, rigorous hands-on practice, and absolute dedication. That is why overcoming every obstacle and reaching this goal is a monumental achievement. This certificate reflects Ana’s resilience and talent and represents a shared victory and a source of great pride for her entire family, who have seen higher education open the door to a new future.
Dear Ana, your talent and perseverance have brought you here, and we are certain that your passion will take you even further. We wish you a bright future, full of success and blessings in this beautiful profession you have chosen.
Ana´s testimony:
Having the opportunity to be part of a program like La Cima IAP allowed me to develop different aspects of myself. One example is the daily interaction with the women who live at La Cima facilities, whom I came to love as sisters and with whom I was able to talk, go out, and take a break from the academic world.
Thanks to the workshops at La Cima, I reflected many times and learned lessons that I remember every day. One of the most important is the power of our voice to express what we want to say, and the importance of seeking happiness in everything we do.
I learned that, although the path can be complicated and at times seem very difficult, it is always possible to move forward with perseverance, resilience, and the desire to achieve our goals.
In the academic field, my greatest achievement was completing my university studies. At the beginning of my degree, that goal seemed very far away. But now that I look back, I am proud of the path I have traveled. Although it was not easy, I made it. I know that new challenges will come with the beginning of my professional life, and I feel ready to face them.
A very important achievement for my community and me was my community project. Sharing with children and adolescents the value and well-being of all animals filled me with great pride. Knowing that at least one of them received the message, reflected on the topic, and changed the way they think makes me feel very satisfied.
For La Cima, I wish a prosperous future and that it never lacks what it needs to continue carrying out this beautiful work of supporting women from rural poverty in their university studies, just as they did with me.
