Curbing malnutrition among the children of low economic background remains the priority of Oak Rural Health Organization. This has become more important during this period of high inflation and food scarcity. Meeting up with the children's daily nutrients requirement help them with effective growth and development which levels up with their ages.
It was a joyous moment as our team embarked on house to house distribution of food packages containing a 4 day supply which is expected to deliver at least 50% of their daily nutrients requirement. Both children and parents at Itamerin and environments of Akinyele LGA of Oyo state Nigeria will remain grateful for this timely intervention. This activity is expected to be ongoing till as long as the resources is available.
Oak rural health Organization is happy to have made it this far, reaching the underserved communities with gestures like this. This achievement is credited to the kind gestures of our donors who have been giving relentlessly to this cause. Giving more will enable us provide more for these vulnerable children, so they can become useful to the society and the entire nation. We are grateful to all!
