As the world continues to battle with the ravaging COVID19 pandemic. The widespread economic effect on the world has badly hit the economically disadvantaged populations and made more people poor. Loss of purchasing power has made many parents not being able to meet up with the family's routine nutritional demands. Children under the age of 5 years born to poor families are worst hit as their menu is no more based on quality but "any available".
Oak Rural Health Organization has been working to ensure that these effects are reduced on the target population to the barest minimum. We have in the past supplied countless number of children with nourishing food, supplements and anti worm tablets. However, the Organization has been running on a very lean resources. COVID19 pandemic has darstically affected our fundraising activities as many donors have not been able to give. Presently, our team are contacting some stores and poultry farmers to solicit for in-kind donations of materials like diaries, iron fortified cereals and eggs. Promises have been made, but "a bird at hand is worth a thousand in the bush".
Your generous donations has taken us this far, we cannot afford to stay back at this time when we are needed most. The children need adequate diet for good performance in their academic activities and to improve their immunity against diseases. Support Oak Rural Health Organization and let us raise a healthy community together.
