ASAR Humanity is on a mission to end this injustice. We've initiated a project to deliver rice packs to poor families, orphans, elders, and those who are most in need. Today in Indonesia, millions still face hunger every day, with 26 million people living below the poverty line. Indonesia is one of the world's largest rice producers, with more than 10 million hectares of rice fields and annual production of over 55 million tons of rice. However, despite living in this abundant, tropical country, many families remain unable to afford this basic food staple. Every day, many go to bed hungry, including children, the elderly, and orphans.
To solve this issue, ASAR Humanity is connecting individuals, companies, and organizations to take part in our project to end hunger in Indonesia. We deliver rice packs to people who can't afford proper meals. Why rice packs? Because rice is the main source of food for most Indonesian families, and one rice pack can feed a family for several days, providing them with the energy and nutrition they desperately need. Your contributions will help ensuring that no family has to face hunger alone.
Food is a basic human need, and with every rice pack we deliver, we're not only feeding people for the day but giving them hope for tomorrow. A single rice pack can feed more than three people for weeks, and with that, these families can save money for other essential needs like education, healthcare, and improving their livelihoods.
