How do we help?

By ONI | ONI

Querido donante,

Dear donor

This month we’d like to tell you about how we work at ONI to combat malnutrition in girls and boys living in marginalized communities at the Metropolitan Zone of Guadalajara. We know there are a lot more kids and families that are not familiarized with ONI’s work, for which we try to reach them through different means.

At first, the diffusion made by the promoters(mothers) within their communities is of great help for us; but we need to find other ways to broaden our reach and get to those who need it the most. Therefore, our Social Work personnel kick in and conduct home visits to different families in the communities attendedby ONI to know about the status of kids who live there. Later on, social workers diagnose the main needs of the families and financial support is granted to the children that attend our programs.

We keep reaching more children thanks to your help!
