Karno Kids, No Child Left Inside

KARNO KIDS has partnered with The North Face as the official charity of The North Face Endurance Challenge Series. Our motto is: “No Child Left Inside!” And our mission is to motivate and inspire kids to get outdoors and become more active. We are taking important steps to address the unfortunate epidemic of “globesity” and to turn around the growing trend for our youth across the planet to become sedentary and inactive.

KARNO KIDS has been able to travel the world and set up running events for kids to participate in various length “fun runs.” These are non-competitive, non-threatening venues that encourage inclusion and camaraderie, and allow kids to experience the joy of running for the simple pleasure of just moving their body and running. Often, it is this one single exposure to an enjoyable and fun running experience that changes a child’s behavior forever. We get letters from kids years later expressing their gratitude, and informing us that their lifestyle, indeed their life, has been changed for the better because of their participation in this program.
