Summary

Over 1.2 million children have lost one or both parents and many grow up facing extreme poverty, hunger, and the risk of living on the streets. Without support, many are forced to leave school early. Your donation will provide school fees, uniforms, learning materials, vocational training, and mentoring so vulnerable young people can stay in education and become financially independent and break the cycle of poverty.

Challenge

There are over 1.2 million orphaned children in Tanzania, many of whom have lost one or both parents to poverty, disease, or abandonment. These children face unimaginable challenges such as living on the streets, struggling to find food, and often dropping out of school at an early age. Some are raised by elderly grandparents or overburdened relatives who can barely provide for themselves. Others end up in unsafe environments, vulnerable to exploitation and abuse.

Solution

We support children and young people who have faced extreme poverty, abandonment, or abuse, helping them access education, vocational training, and life skills to break the cycle of poverty. Donations provide safe shelter, nutritious meals, healthcare, school fees, uniforms, tutoring, vocational training, extracurricular activities, and emotional support, giving every child the tools they need to learn, grow, and build financially independent futures.

Long-Term Impact

Our child sponsorship program transforms lives for the long term. Sponsored youth grow into financially independent adults who can support themselves and their families. They use their education, vocational skills, and life experience to give back to their communities. By taking part in delivering our projects, they gain hands-on community development skills, empowering them to create lasting change and break the cycle of poverty for future generations.
