At the heart of Dalit Solidarity’s mission is a deep commitment to breaking the cycle of poverty and discrimination faced by Dalit communities in India. One of our most impactful initiatives is the St. Patrick’s School and Scholarship Program, which continues to be a beacon of hope for hundreds of disadvantaged children.
St. Patrick’s School: A Sanctuary of Learning and Dignity
Located in Tamil Nadu, St. Patrick’s School offers more than just academic instruction—it provides a safe and nurturing environment where Dalit children can learn, grow, and dream beyond the limits society has historically placed on them. With a curriculum rooted in excellence and values of equality, the school fosters leadership, confidence, and social awareness among its students.

Scholarship Program: Breaking Barriers, Building Futures
The Dalit Scholarship Program is transforming lives by ensuring that no child is denied education due to poverty. Over the past year:
Real Impact, Real Stories
Take the story of Anjali, a 14-year-old girl from a remote village. A child of daily wage laborers, she was on the verge of dropping out. Today, she not only attends St. Patrick’s School on a full scholarship, but also dreams of becoming a doctor. Her journey is one of hundreds made possible by your unwavering support.
Looking Ahead
We are working towards expanding the scholarship fund to reach 500 students annually by 2026. With your continued partnership, we believe every Dalit child can rise above injustice through the transformative power of education.
