Dear Friends and Supporters,
First, thank you to everyone who has believed in this project so far. Your early gifts have kept our vision alive.
We want to be honest with you about where we stand. Contributions to this project have so far been modest, which means we have not yet been able to purchase the equipment this training truly needs. Rather than overpromise, we have used this period to prepare the ground: identifying eager young people in the Aida, Al-Azza, and Dheisheh refugee camps, planning the training curriculum, and preparing our workshop space so that we are ready to begin the moment funding allows.
The reality is simple. To launch our CNC wood-carving training, we need about USD 5,000 to purchase the essentials: a CNC wood-carving machine (around USD 4,000), carving bits and cutting tools (around USD 600), and an initial supply of wood and raw materials (around USD 400). Right now, a small group of 5 young people — including youth with disabilities — are ready and waiting for the chance to learn a skill that can bring them income and dignity.
This is where you come in. Every gift, no matter how small, brings us closer to buying that first machine. A recurring monthly donation is especially powerful — it lets us plan with confidence and reach our goal faster.
We are not asking you to fund a finished project. We are inviting you to help us build it from the ground up — and to be part of the moment these young people switch on their first machine.
With gratitude and hope,
