Dear Valued Together For Nepal (TFN) Supporters,
I trust this briefing finds you in good health & spirits. We wanted to share an update on project, "Empowering Visually Impaired Women/Girls in Nepal."
If you remember, we had started our fund raising campaign on Dec, last year; & pls note that to date, we have successfully raised US$ 827, and NRs 50,000 (equivalent to US$ 378) locally in Nepal. While we acknowledge that we haven't reached our initial funding target, we are sincerely grateful for your unwavering support thus far. Your generosity is truly appreciated, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to each one of you.
Despite the current funding challenges, we are actively engaged in efforts to secure additional funds for the project. We remain steadfast in our commitment, even if it means implementing the project in modified form. The first training actvities is scheduled to be held no later than March 2025.
Your continued support and assistance are invaluable to us. If you have any connections with potential donors who share our passion for this noble cause, we kindly ask for your help in introducing them to our initiative. Expanding our network with your assistance will significantly contribute to the success of the project.
We are excited to introduce Sushil Adhikari, a key member of our team who will be instrumental in this project's implementation. Sushil, a dedicated advocate for youth and disability rights, is not only visually impaired but has also been actively raising awareness about disability rights in Nepal and beyond. We believe Sushil's commitment and expertise will play a pivotal role in the project's success.
Thank you once again for your continuous support. Together, we can create a lasting impact on the lives of visually impaired women and girls in Nepal.
