Breast cancer remains a significant threat, disproportionately affecting underserved women who face barriers to breast screening and equitable healthcare. This Project is dedicated to improving breast health outcomes by breaking barriers to early detection and bridging disparity gaps. Through breast health promotion and fundraising initiatives, we aim to ensure access to equitable breast healthcare for all, thereby reducing the high mortality and morbidity rates from breast cancer for all.
Despite strides in high-income nations like Australia, breast cancer disparities persist, notably among underserved African communities. Limited access to care, cultural barriers, and late diagnoses contribute to higher mortality rates. Rose Breast Health aims to address these gaps by providing tailored support and education, advocating for equitable healthcare access. Together, we can ensure all women receive timely breast cancer care.
