She is the Universe empowers teenage girls from 50+ countries around the world through storytelling, mentorship, and leadership development. This project will support our leadership development and mentorship program by providing a full scholarship to all 90 girls from our next cohort. Regions where girls are based include North America, South America, Middle East, Europe, Asia, and Africa.
Globally, 600 million adolescent girls face unequal access to education and skill-building opportunities, depriving them of growth and potential contributions to the world. She is the Universe centers girls through community building with peers across continents, enables them to build skills and develop agency over their trajectory, and provides these girls with a safe and supportive environment where they can freely express themselves and embark on a journey of personal growth and empowerment.
She is the Universe engages a cohort of 200 of the most diverse, brilliant & underestimated leaders: teenage girls from 50+ countries. Our program encompasses: a) virtual + in-person exchanges to explore identity, agency, and character development; b) skill-building in storytelling and public speaking; and c) mentorship, pairing girls with female leaders across diverse industries. Girls are empowered to be the leaders of their lives and create the change they want to see in the world.
Through continuous support, She is the Universe empowers teenage girls to step into the leaders they want to be through leadership programs, mentorship opportunities, scholarships, and a thriving global community. To date, 15,000+ have been impacted through our facilitator training, leadership retreats, inspiring media, and virtual education campaigns.
