Empowering Rural Youth in Uganda Through Sports

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who continues to follow, encourage, and support our mission through GlobalGiving.

Our project aims to establish community-based sports programs including football, netball, and volleyball in underserved rural communities across Uganda. Through this initiative, we plan to provide coaching, sports equipment, and safe play spaces for over 1,000 children and youth aged 8–18 years, ensuring equal participation opportunities for both boys and girls.

Beyond sports, the program will integrate life skills training, leadership development, mentorship, and health education to help young people build confidence, discipline, teamwork, and resilience. We are also working to partner with local schools to support children who are at risk of dropping out, helping them remain in education while actively participating in sports and community development activities.

Additionally, this project seeks to promote gender equality and empower girls through sports clubs, positive role models, mentorship opportunities, and awareness programs focused on health and personal development.
