Empowering 1000 People Living With Disabilities

After receving our first disbursment of funds, we have embacked on the project empowering 1000 PWDs, the organisation has begun with the first quater number of the PWDs in Nandi county and Muranga County.

We are out to create sustainable jobs for the PWDs and all the their caregives by:

a) Putting up a disability center that will serve the entire Muranga and central Kenya as a whole. 

b) Provision of bedings and assitive divieses to PWDs in Nandi county

We are at a servy stage after identification of land in Muranga county where we intend to put up a community disability center that will host at list 500+ PWds, we have reached out to the local leadership of the area and we area in advance stages of putting this up 

We inten to have a partneship with the county government majorly with health CEC who will be providing therapitical assistance and provision of assement during the running of the school.

In Nandi county we have manage to distribute a number of beddings to very poor PWDs within the county and we shall also be patnering with the cou ty to provide a number od sustainable jobs within the county all these will be direct benefints and money making for the PWDs 

The project will promote opportunities for people with disabilities, to obtain decent and productive work, based on the principles of freedom, equity, security, and human dignity. This will be achieved through decent work, advocacy, knowledge building, and technical cooperation services and partnerships. It will boost the living standards of PWDs where they initiate and manage their own activities and compete effectively in job and product markets.
