By Angie de Hoyos-Limon Sequeiros | Nyumbani Volunteer & Social Worker Consultant
My name is Tina and I am 22 years old.
I have been a beneficiary of Nyumbani Village since 2nd september 2009 together with my brothers Paul and Muli. When our parents passed away, for sure I had nobody to support me towards my future dream and vision, but now my life has changed.
I take this opportunity to thank the donors of GlobalGiving for their financial support of my education. My life in college has been excellent. I have enjoyed and learned so much. I completed my Diploma in Food and Beverage management and am planning to be a Lecturer by 2017 at Kenya Technical Trainers College. I look forward to being able to pay for my own futher studies as I find a job related to my profession. My dreams and goals are close to being achieved thanks to all of you!
Finally, it’s my prayer that God may bless you and make you "a well that does not run dry, even in dry season, Shalom."
